From the editor

Priya is in onboarding.tsx. People are quitting while they create a workspace. The decision is happening in the file. Scribble Flow is already the desk - the editor is another way in.

One key

1. On the desk, open Settings → API keys and create a key. It reads and writes only that desk.
2. In VS Code or Cursor, run Scribble Flow: Set desk key and paste it. Or give the same key to the agent.
3. Web capture, the editor, and the agent now share the desk.

The extension is one install for VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and VSCodium. From the published extension folder:

code --install-extension is the same command in VS Code.

The agent uses the MCP server. In Cursor, add this to mcp.json:

Claude Code and Devin use that same server, with the same key.

Priya's afternoon

She selects this line:

Users quit while creating a workspace. Auto-create one and let them rename later.

Scribble Flow: Save (Ctrl+Alt+S, or Cmd+Alt+S on a Mac). She picks Decision and adds the why: they quit during workspace creation, before they saw the product.

Or she tells the agent. It searches first, and it saves when she asks:

Search the desk for onboarding. If we already decided, append the why. Otherwise save a decision: Simplify onboarding.

A decision, idea, or task is filed in that room. Capture for later is the Inbox choice - the stack trace she will sort in Flow.

The card keeps the file, the lines, the repo, and the branch.

The follow-up becomes a task in Work. When it ships, one outcome line sits next to the decision.

The same rooms

A scribble from the web, a save from the editor, and a sentence to the agent all write this desk: Inbox, Ideas, Work, Memory, Slate, and Ship.

Search before you create a second card. If the decision already exists, append the why.

The original text stays as you wrote it. A title beside it is a suggestion: Accept, Edit, or Dismiss.
