Alex had the idea in the shower: charge freelancers per invoice, not per seat. By the time the laptop was open, it was gone - buried under a Slack thread and two browser tabs.
That is the problem Scribble Flow solves. Not "organize your notes." Just: never lose the thought in the first place.
The one thing to understand
You do not have to organize anything.
Most tools ask you to pick a folder, a tag, a project, a type - right when you're mid-thought. Scribble Flow flips it. You get the thought out of your head in one keystroke, and your desk quietly makes sense of it later.
Scribble first. Structure later. Ship smarter.
That's the whole philosophy. Capture is free. Structure is optional. Captures stay on your desk until you delete them, and your original words are not overwritten by AI.
Your first five minutes
- Say what you're building. On the welcome screen, type one line - "A billing tool for freelancers" - or skip it. It just helps your desk understand your world.
- Type one thought. On your Desk, there's a box: What are you thinking about? Write anything. A worry, a feature, a link, a half-idea. Hit save.
- Watch it land. You'll see "Saved to your desk." Open Inbox - it's there, in your exact words, with a quiet AI title and summary added next to it.
That's it. You've used the whole app. Everything else is just what you do with those scribbles when you're ready.
The loop, in plain words
Scribble Flow is built around one loop. You don't have to memorize it - you'll fall into it naturally.
Capture → make sense of it later → build → remember why
- Capture whatever's in your head.
- Make sense of it when you have a spare ten minutes - turn a scribble into an idea, a task, or a decision.
- Build the things worth building.
- Remember why you chose what you chose, months later, with the receipts.
Want examples that sound like you?
This guide follows Alex, a founder. If your week looks different, there's a short track written in your language - a founder, a developer, a product manager, a team manager, or an executive. Pick yours on the guide home, under Who are you?
What to do next
Tomorrow, come back to your Desk. That's home - the first thing you see each day.
When you're curious, read Your desk in two minutes to learn what each room is for. But honestly? You can start capturing right now and figure out the rest as you go. That's the point.
